about ME

I'm ALEX

I’m a pediatric nurse who got swept away by photography and never looked back. I learned my skills while doing medical internships over seas and fell in love with the art of genuine connection.

I'm a momma to three high energy toddlers and they make my world go 'round. As a mom, I know how overwhelming it can be to manage it all and strive to provide a supportive experience for my clients.

I thank God everyday for the opportunity to do what I love, be creative, meet amazing people, and live in my beautiful little world of photography. I am honored when you choose me to capture your most treasured gifts - your children and family.

Adoption

Adoption has been such a gift to us as we have grown our family and I can't imagine our life without it!

guilty pleasure

Shopping Studio McGee, Hallmark movies on the couch, and Bluebell homemade vanilla ice cream.

sunshine

I was designed to be a summer girl. Barefoot feet, toes in the sand, and cut off jean shorts are my calling. You will find my photos are typically saturated with sunshine and natural light.

SCIENCE

I actually started my photography business to pay off my nursing school loans, and somehow it has been a whirlwind of wild success! I am a total nerd when it comes to the human body and I absolutely love taking care of the sweet babies at the hospital. My RN background has had a huge effect on my photography skills and safety is always my first priority.

ICED LATTES

It’s doubtful you’ll find me without one in my hand. Raising two toddlers calls for caffeine and I gave up re-microwaving my hot coffee long ago ;) Mamas, I know you’re with me on this one.
